Amendment VI

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to
a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury;
be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation;
be confronted with the witnesses against him;
have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor;
have the assistance of counsel for his defense.


Speedy is relative, must cause real prejuduice, but judge can throw out the case.
Public is not an option of defendant's
Impartial can be challenged after the fact if clear juror bias demonstrated.
Compulsory process includes both subpoena and bench warrant to arrest.
