The point I would like you to understand is that Trump is simply flooding the courts with nonsense. And his goal is to somehow get some percentage of the garbage through, thus undermining your Constitution, and your rights. If Trump can get a court to take this proclamation seriously, he can just as easily say that offshore property is subject to the jurisdiction of the US. Or any other characterization he gets it in his mind to pick a grudge with.
The point is not whether or not he is picking on you at the moment, but whether or not you feel it is important to live in a country that is governed by law.
I will not ask you to read the case for yourself, but it is there should you be interested. This is the district court case. So it is shorter, and more intelligible that a Supreme Court case, If you decide to read just one of the links I give you, this would be the one.
You should know that it was decided for the plaintiff. In other words it was decided that the proclamation was unconstitutional. It took until August 7 for this to get resolved. The original lawsuit was filed back on January 21. One day after the proclamation. The plaintiff had to rewrite the complaint during that time to satisfy the Supreme Court on some points of law.

Trump's attempt to override the Constitution

The above document is only 4 pages long, large type. I suggest you read it. The governments argument is that children of transient mothers or mothers not in the country legally, and whose father is not a legal citizen at all somehow not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States.

I don't know how you can not be subject to the jurisdiction of the United States as long as you are physically present here. And even if NOT here, if they can find you they may come get you, in which case you are under their jurisdiction. If some of these children are truly outside the jurisdiction of the United States, we will never find them, so this whole executive order is a sham.
