Bill of Rights

We are now starting our section on the Bill of Rights

The majority of the 10 amendments in the Bill of Rights have been litigated extensively. As a result, the amendment in force today is NOT what was originally written, but court written law that has evolved over the last 237 years. I will attempt to present the original language, the broadest statement possible as to current interpretation, and at least one reference to court cases that have been instrumental in the change. Links will be provided to the actual court findings.
