Every bill must pass both houses of Congress; can start in either house
Revenue bills must originate in the House, but the Senate can propose amendments
President must then:
approve and sign the bill into law
or
Return it to originating house with objections
Congress can then override the Presidents veto on a 2/3 vote
or
Modify the bill and resubmit
or
Abandon bill
or
Do Nothing
If Congress is still in session after 10 days
Bill becomes law without President's signature
or
Bill is abandoned
By contrast to Bills, Orders, Resolutions or Votes requiring concurrence of both
houses follow above procedure except there is no option for the President requiring modifications
